Welcome to the AVA Trophy, the newest and most exclusive international youth handball tournament in Eastern Europe, held annually in Brașov, Romania. AVA Trophy is more than just a tournament—it is a family story, a passion for handball passed between generations, and a mission to bring the best youth teams together from across Europe.

Titus Donosa – Co-Founder

A well-known name in Romanian handball, played competitively for many years before deciding to dedicate himself to coaching and youth development. In 2021, he founded ACS Avatar Brașov, a club focused exclusively on junior boys, with the mission to revive Brașov’s presence in Romanian handball and provide young athletes the chance to compete at the highest level.

Cezar Donosa – Founder

Following in his father’s footsteps, Cezar Donosa developed his skills at ACS Avatar Brașov and gained extensive experience competing in top-level junior competitions. In 2025, he decided to contribute to the project by creating AVA Trophy, bringing high-level teams from around the world to compete with the best in Romania.

Claudia Donosa – Executive Director

Claudia Donosa ensures that every edition of AVA Trophy runs smoothly. She coordinates operations, logistics, and administration, making sure the tournament meets the highest standards.

Victor Donosa – Event Manager

Victor Donosa oversees all on-site operations during the tournament, managing schedules, venues, and ensuring every match runs smoothly, while also coordinating the volunteers.
